I was hanging out at a local chain drugstore waiting to pick up a prescription when I came across Preventive Dental Products new ready to use toothbrushes with pre-pasted bristles.

Each brush weighs one half ounce and is three inches long. You get four in a package for $2.99.

Best part: the handle is already cut off so you don’t have to drill holes or get out the saw.

Check it out.

PS. I am keeping one for myself and have given one to a friend. I’ll send the other two to the first two people who comment on this post.

Be light. Be safe. Be one with the pack.

  • I like a handle. It allows me to brush my back teeth without sticking my (sometimes not perfectly clean) fingers in my mouth. I also usually skip the toothpaste, as there never seems to be a good place to put it (in the interests of leaving no trace) and I’ve convinced myself that the mechanical is 80% of the brushing benefit. Still, a cute find. I’ve not seen anything like it before.

  • I’ve tried the kind of toothbrush that’s given to prisoners, which slips on the end of your finger. It’s incredibly light but hard to use. The Go Go toothbrush looks like it would be much easier to use.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to make clear I didn’t receive the prisoner toothbrush in prison. I bought it from Gossamer Gear, but I don’t think they’re still sold there.
